This expertly restored matching-numbers 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T convertible is one of only 41 4-speed-equipped cars built for export that year, and the only one powered by the 383/300 HP Magnum V-8. The R/T’s body is in truly fantastic condition and features a Plum Crazy finish accented by matte-black stripes and a power-operated Black convertible top. 

Like all 440 R/Ts, the car is fitted with heavy duty suspension and 15 inch 60 series tires. Rallye road wheels with bright trim rings and Goodyear Polyglas GT tires are period correct; these elements combine for handling that capably measures up to the car’s ample 300 horses. Inside, the black vinyl interior features the Rallye gauge package, wood-rimmed steering wheel and Hurst pistol-grip shifter. The high-back bucket seats with woodgrain-trimmed center console are a desirable grouping. The 300HP 383 Magnum V-8 is coupled to the optional Hemi-rated Chrysler 4-speed trans. There are no aftermarket components here- everything is Mopar and period-correct as per the car’s recent restoration.
