In the second year of a very successful restyling, the 1969 Dodge Charger reached a new level of performance with the 500 and Daytona, while a new luxury interior trim group debuted as well, the SE Package. Available on the Charger and Charger R/T, features included leather bucket seats, simulated woodgrain instrument panel and console decor, bright pedal trim and a three-spoke Sport steering wheel.

This fine-looking Charger R/T SE began life clothed in Green, which was changed to its present striking Red with Black vinyl roof and Black interior. R/T touches include front and rear badges, flip-open chromed gas cap and Black Bumblebee striping, with the addition of hood-mounted turn signals. The new finish is extremely well executed with beautiful results.

Motive force comes from the original numbers-matching 440/375HP V-8 coupled to a console-shifted heavy duty A727 Torqueflite automatic, and aided with power steering and brakes. The whole business rolls on handsome chrome styled road wheels and B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As, providing extra finish to an already very desirable, handsome and powerful Dodge street classic.
